Caught on sex tape, Sandeep Kumar sacked as AAP minister
New Delhi: In a sudden move, chief minister Arvind Kejriwal Wednesday sacked social welfare minister Sandeep Kumar after receiving an 'objectionable' CD allegedly carrying details of some 'wrongdoings'.
Reports suggested that it was a sex tape featuring Kumar.
The decision to sack the minister was taken at a high-level meeting attended by top AAP leaders.
"Received 'objectionable' CD of minister Sandeep Kr. AAP stands for propriety in public life. That can't be compromised. Removing him from Cabinet wid immediate effect," Kejriwal tweeted announcing the decision.
Confirming the news, deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia said that Kumar was sacked 30 minutes after AAP received the CD.
“AAP is a party with ideals,” Sisodia added.
Kumar represents Sultanpur Majra constituency. He is the second AAP minister to be sacked after Asim Ahmed Khan who was minister for food and supplies.
