Heavy rains lashed the capital Wednesday morning, leaving several areas waterlogged and reeling under heavy traffic snarls for the third time this month. Reports of heavy traffic congestion and vehicles being stuck on roads for hours are coming from different parts of the city.
This happens about a month after Gurgaon, which comes under National Capital Region, experienced massive traffic problem because of flooding caused by heavy rains. The rains led to a situation because of which schools and offices remained shut for couple of days. The local authorities and government also faces a lot of flak because of poop preparation ahead of monsoons.
