Kerala CPM leader VV Dakshinamoorthy no more

Kozhikode:CPM state secretariat member and former MLA V.V. Dakshinamoorthy (82) passed away here Wednesday.

He breathed his last at Kozhikode district cooperative hospital where he was undergoing treatment for age-related illness for the last one month.

He had also served as the editor of Desabhimani, CPM's mouthpiece in Kerala. He was elected to the Kerala assembly thrice from Perambra assembly constituency. He was also Kochi unit manager of Desabhimani.
