Good news: Kerala raises bonus ceiling to Rs 22,000

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala cabinet on Wednesday decided to make more employees eligible for bonus by raising the wage ceiling.

Earlier, only government staff earning a salary of up to Rs 18,000 were given bonus, but now employees earning up to Rs 22,000 would also get the bonus.

The bonus amount will be Rs 3,500.

The festival allowance for anganwadi staff has been raised to Rs 1,100 from Rs 1,000.
