VIDEO: Madhya Pradesh GRP constable thrashes thief unconscious, drags him
Reportedly, the railway authorities have ordered a probe into the incident
A gruesome picture of police brutality has surfaced from Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior on Tuesday. In a video posted by news agency ANI, a Government Railway Police (GRP) head constable is seen dragging an unconscious man after he allegedly beat him up and abused him for reason which is unknown.
As per reports, the man who was seen in the video being physically assaulted by the constable is a thief. The constable can be seen thrashing the man even after he fell unconscious and then dragging him by his ‘gamcha’ (towel) wrapped around his neck.
Railway authorities have ordered a probe into the incident, reports indicate.
