Vigilance raids former Kerala minister K Babu's house
Kochi: A special team of the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (VACB) on Saturday raided the house of former Kerala excise minister K. Babu at Tripunithura near here. A case has been slapped against him for allegedly amassing wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income.
The VACB is also conducting raids at houses of Babu's children in Thodupuzha and Kochi, and people suspected to be acting as his benami.
The raids are being held based on an FIR filed at Moovattupuzha vigilance court.
