Want to be the Best Chef? Join the Manorama Online–Havells contest

Here's the golden opportunity to wake the sleeping chef in you – Manorama Online and Havells are setting the stage for a cookery contest, which could make you the best cook.

To register for the contest, think of an inevitable item that needs to sit on the plantain leaf for the Onam sadya, and upload the recipe on the page.

September 8 is the last date to upload your recipe. As many as 20 recipes will be shortlisted and the senders will be invited to Kochi to take part in the next round of the contest. The shortlisted candidates would be asked to prepare the same recipe that they had uploaded on the page.

The winner takes home Rs 25,000 along with the honor of being the Best Chef in the competition. The first runner up will win Rs 15,000 and the second runner up will bag Rs 10,000. All of the contestants who get into the final round of the contest will win consolation prizes.
